On April 1, 2013, AllCare Orthodontic Center and 3M ESPE promote Dental Education. Dr. Budi Kusnoto held an Oral Hygiene Seminar, including a lecture and a dinner, for local hygienists and dentists at AllCare Orthodontic Center. Four dental hygienists and five dentists from around the neighborhood attended this educational event.

One of our guest speaker George J. Martinez from 3M ESPE presented a lecture on “Oral Health is Your Body’s First Defense Against Disease.” George J Martinez is currently a Regional Preventive Specialist for 3M ESPE with over 30 years of Preventive Dentistry experience. George has delivered over 500 Preventive seminar across the country. Attendees of the Oral Hygiene Seminar received 2 continuing education credits and had an opportunity to communicate with other dental professionals in the neighborhood. The event was sponsored by one of the top dental product manufacturers 3M ESPE, which is a division of 3M company.

“We’ve had an enjoyable evening,” said Dr. Kusnoto. “Local dentists and hygienists responded to our invitation with a great deal of enthusiasm. Our guests have specifically remarked on the informative lecture and warm atmosphere of the night. Events like this one help dental hygienists, dentists, and dental specialists communicate more efficiently and provide higher quality of care to their patients.”

Dr. Kusnoto plans to organize more events of this kind in the future. He finds it very beneficial for an orthodontic specialists to discuss current developments in the field of dentistry with the dental professionals.
