AllCare Orthodontic Center is excited to welcome a new member, Dr. Katerine Cardona, to our team this summer. AllCare has been providing exceptional orthodontic care to children, adolescents and adults of all ages in Chicago and the surrounding communities since opening in 2007. Led by Dr. Budi Kusnoto, the team is dedicated to providing healthy and beautiful smiles for all of our patients.
Dr. Katerine Cardona is a double certified dentist obtaining her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from La Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Inspired by the amazing changes that can be possible with orthodontics she continued her studies at the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Illinois, where she received a degree in Orthodontics and a master’s in Oral Sciences after a three-year graduate residency program.
Dr. Cardona’s dedication to her profession has led her to be inducted into OKU National Dental Honor Society, a designation reserved for dentists who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance and high clinical skills during their training.
Dr. Cardona uses multiple methods and appliances to suit her patient’s needs from conventional metal braces to clear aligner treatment (Invisalign). To ensure the best possible outcome for her patients, Dr. Cardona makes sure to gain their cooperation and actively involves them in all phases of their treatment.
Dr. Kusnoto noted, “We are passionate about providing quality care in a comfortable environment with the patients’ best interest in mind. It was very important to us to find a passionate orthodontic specialist who shares the same vision and philosophy to join the team. I believe we found an excellent match with Dr. Cardona whose educational background, treatment philosophy and clinical skills make her the perfect fit for our practice. Dr. Cardona speaks fluent English and Spanish. She will incredibly bridge our connection with patients and their family in a diverse community.”
